Dress
Comfortably
We encourage parents and students to wear shoes
that are comfortable for walking. There is some distance between the housing, dining and meeting
areas on campus. Students should wear clothes and shoes that are
appropriate for some light physical activity on Friday. |

Welcome
to the TAMS community! We are proud that you are joining us in our
efforts to make the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science a truly
wonderful living-learning environment. To help you experience a more
enjoyable and less stressful transition next fall, we are hosting
the TAMS Summer Orientation (a.k.a. SO and Summer O) program.
This
two-day program provides an opportunity for new students and their
parents or adult guardians to become acquainted with one another
and with TAMS staff, to learn more about what to expect in the fall,
and to take care of some business that will make move-in day easier.
Please
plan to join us for these workshops and activities, which are designed
to address topics of interest to new TAMS families. If you have not
already, you will be receiving a packet in the mail with all the
details.
