Brady
Black
Hall Director
and Student Development Specialist
Brady
Black hails from the great city of Houston Texas and is
a six generation Houstonian...yes that means his family
was in Texas when Texas was its own country. He worked at
TAMS back in 98-00 as a Programming Advisor. He left to
go and get married, but soon returned to UNT as a housing
Hall Director, where he worked for 4 years, because he said,
"I didn't want to pay bills anymore." Brady received
his Undergraduate Degree from UNT in Recreational Programming
in '01. He says, "yes, it is a bit like studying the
proper art of hammock swinging, but many do not know the
DANGERS of improper hammock sitting...that is what I am
here for." He is now pursuing a Master's Degree in
Linguistics. When asked why he is studying that he said,
"I enjoy studying something that few people have ever
heard of. It allows me to speak with authority on the subject
without any fear that the audience has any idea what I am
talking about, or possibly knows more than I do on the subject.
I seem smarter that way."
Future Goals: to become a Jedi, or maybe a pirate.
Brady enjoys all outdoor activities that do not involve
him being on a team, ex: surfing, rock climbing, mountaineering,
kite surfing, swimming, etc. He also loves reading, watching
movies, and engaging in discussions on either. Brady has
been married for 5 years to the more intelligent and more
beautiful than he, Amber
