Kevin Roden
Assistant Director of Student Life

Kevin has been with TAMS since the Spring of 1997. He began his TAMS career as an RA on the 3rd floor new wing and subsequently held positions as a Program Advisor and Hall Director before starting his current position in April of 2000.

Kevin received his BA in Political Science from UNT ('98), his MA in Philosophy from the University of Dallas ('07), and is working toward a PhD in Philosophy from the Institute for Philosophic Studies at the University of Dallas. His research interests include Philosophy of Religion, Ancient Philosophy, Medieval Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, Aesthetics, and addressing the question What Does It Mean to be Human? Kevin combines his love for philosophy and his job each year by hosting Dessert and Discourse, a series of discussions with students.

When he is not studying Aristotle and Latin, Kevin enjoys fishing, kayaking, playing music, and engaging others in controversial conversation. He has been married for 8 years to his beautiful wife Emily and just recently welcomed to the world their first child, Rosemary.
