Lauren Bohlin
Hall Director and Student Development Specialist

Lauren originates from the city of San Antonio but has been a local Dentonite for the past 8 years. She received her B.A. in Radio, Television and Film at UNT and is in graduate school to earn a Master's degree in Higher Education-Student Affairs.  She has been very involved with students since she moved to Denton and has grown to truly love the University of North Texas and its diversity. Lauren’s goal is to move to the San Francisco bay area once she finishes her degree to pursue a career in student services at UC Berkeley.

Lauren’s favorite things to do are to travel, read, hang out at coffee shops, cook, jazzercise and watch movies. She also loves being active and is pretty much a natural at all sports, her specialties being volleyball, softball, and tennis. It has been heard that she can also play a mean game of ping pong. She is married to a mountain climbing fanatic named Kevin who is famous for the being the best cappuccino barista in town and is mother to a 2 ½ year old Golden Retriever named Calvin.
