Tammy joined the TAMS staff in January 2006. Since graduating from Texas A&M University-College Station in 2001 with a BS in Recreation, Parks & Tourism Sciences, she has gained experience in outdoor education, film making, massage therapy, arts administration, festival planning, and a little music business. Last Fall she began graduate level classes towards interests in non-profit management and counseling.

Beyond the world of TAMS, Tammy goes by her nickname, Laney. She keeps herself busy listening to indie/alternative rock music via Pandora.com, reading, dancing, dabbling on the guitar, experimenting with other art/craft interests, and searching for travel destinations that fit her schedule & pocketbook. Some of her other joys are good company, live performances, personal growth, and very dark chocolate.
