Jose Castro
Resident Assistant

José is a junior here at UNT, and this is my first year here at TAMS. He is majoring in Marketing and getting a minor in Art History, though he is considering making it my second major. He would like to work for a Marketing Firm or if the other major works out he’d like to pursue a career as an Art Appraiser.
 
His hobbies include reading in his spare time, listening to a lot of music, writing lyrics (rap & poetry), learning about art, playing my Viola when I can, and playing some Xbox Live (mostly Halo 3).
 
José also strives to stay involved at UNT. Spring of ’09 he was the Campus Involvement Chair and a Rush Captain for his fraternity. Also, for Fall of ’09 he will be the VP for Hispanic Business Student Association.
 
Other than that, José is pumped to be living at UNT this year because it’ll be his first time to live on campus and he gets to experience what TAMS is all about."
