Resident
Assistant
Nate is in his sophomore year at the U of NT and is his rookie year at TAMS. He is earning his BM in Music Composition, his minor is in Music Theory, and his Concentration is in Classical Voice. He figures that since he has enjoyed school so much throughout his life, that he should continue the academic pursuit and hopes to one day become a professor of Music Composition.
His area of Avant-Garde composition lies within the realms of Serialism, PC Sets, Concept Music, and is strongly influenced by Minimalism. He pursues writing music for folk, pop, and rock in his spare time.
Other than displaying his utter lust for music, his hobbies are: going on adventures, meeting new people, learning from new people, playing Wii tennis, playing racquetball, reading a good tale, cooking, eating, learning about horticulture, learning about astronomy, going on hikes, and really doing and learning from anything that life has to offer.
He is super-stinkin’ excited to be a part of TAMS this next year and is ready for summer to be over with!!!
