purpose of FACEs is to promote cultural diversity
among students, faculty and staff. By educating
people about different ethnic backgrounds, we
cultivate minds and eliminate stereotypes. It
serves its members as a medium of exchange in
the study and treatment of subjects of mutual
interest relating to the language, history, and
background of many countries. Being informed about
those who live with and around us, leads to a
fulfilling and more pleasurable lie experience.
Programs presented in the past have been Indiafest,
Eurofest, a walk through Black history in American,
Native American Code talkers. |
